I am Jasmine Harris a 22-year-old young woman Who is a patient of Dr. Garcia chiropractic. I had the rods and pen scoliosis procedure when I was nine years old. I was told by both of my neurosurgeons that I would need a chiropractor, my whole life especially if I wanted to stay active. Yet, when I went to college that fell off a little bit. Then when I was working out, I had some unusual pain in my back that I knew wasn’t normal. I went to several other chiropractors and they told me that they couldn’t help me. One of them told me that I would never walk again and that I just need To think about getting spinal fusion surgery. My back was hurting so bad I could not fully stand upright and my back was twisted to the right. Dr. Garcia was the only chiropractor that did x-rays first, range of motion test, leg weight distribution exams, And didn’t prescribe me any type of pain medication. People with scoliosis often have been told that we shouldn’t use our bodies. And Dr. Garcia helps us gain our body autonomy back. Not only that he’s showing his patients how the body is able to heal itself if you give it time and the right consideration. A lot of the specialist I see I see for life and Dr. Garcia is a part of that team. And for those with scoliosis, you need him on your team. He is what the standard of chiropractic work should look like. Not just because of what he does, but because of his character as well.
